Our story
What started as a handful of bags packed at a kitchen table grew into organized kit drives, volunteer days and community partnerships — driven by the belief that helping shouldn't be complicated.
Our impact
Every kit is a real moment of relief: a clean pair of socks, a full bottle of water, a toothbrush, a snack for the road. Volunteers pack them, partners supply them, and neighbors receive them without barriers or paperwork.
Our vision
To serve thousands of people each year by building a steady network of schools, businesses, community organizations and nonprofits — each one hosting drives, packing kits and getting care into the hands of people right where they live.
Founder
Charles Jenkins III
Charles founded Charlie's Care Kits to create direct, meaningful change for people experiencing homelessness and others in need.
He organizes kit drives and volunteers, and distributes food, hygiene items and clothing essentials to neighbors across the community.
Looking ahead, he aims to expand partnerships and inspire young people to lead service in their own neighborhoods.
He believes simple care reminds people they are seen, valued and supported.
